Yes of course they will still work for you :) We all work with crystals in a way or ways that works for US.
The reason why I say yes that it will still work is because we put crystals inside of a closed jar into a bigger bottle/pitcher of water and crystals still charge the water (this is one of the indirect methods for charging water). That is why I feel that it will still work for you.
Remember to clear your crystals regularly and to use them intentionally!!
