Hi,

A 40 year-old friend of mine, a mother of 4, has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma as she is presenting tumours in her brain (removed), abdomen and in her lymph node under her arm. What crystals would you recommend?

Hi Kirrilee,

Please let the family know we offer our love, support and healing energies to them at this time.

Of course, I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

And just one note here — many times, especially for healing, green crystals are often recommended, since green is the color of healing. However, in this case, I would caution against it. Green is the color of growth and we do not want the tumors to grow.

With that said, I would like to suggest a number of crystals that can help to strengthen her immune system, address the cancerous tumors, and aid in the healing process.

Amber works with the lymph nodes/lymphatic system, helping to remove toxins from the body and strengthens brain tissues.

Larimar works specifically with the lymphatic system, removing toxins and specifically with cancer issues.

Sulphur is particularly helpful with issues dealing with the skin (such as melanoma).

For cancer in general, there are a few crystals that I would like to recommend:

Amethyst is a wonderful and powerful healing crystal that will work on strengthening the entire body to fight the cancerous intruder.

Rhodonite and/or Rhodochrosite can help to heal the body and shrink cancerous growths.

Smoky Quartz and/or Sugilite help in both the fight of and healing of cancer.
