My uncle has been diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) which attacks the kidney's filtering system (glomeruli), causing serious scarring on the kidney. I was wondering if there is a particular gemstone to help with the healing.

Thank you!

Good Morning,

I wanted to do a bit of research before responding, and I thank you for allowing me the time to do so.

I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice.  Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

First, let us start with some crystals that help the kidneys in general. For instance, Honey Calcite can help to stimulate kidney function.

Other crystals/stones, such as Amber, Bloodstone, Carnelian, Citrine, and Sunstone help aid the kidneys to function properly.

There are also crystals/stones that can help to regenerate tissue in the body. Some of these would include Carnelian, Citrine, Peridot, Rutilated Quartz, and/or Unakite.

I also read that this condition can cause other conditions such as edema, weight gain, etc. Here are a few stones that can help with these issues:
Aqua Aura

After reviewing these crystal suggestions, I see one in particular that overlaps in each recommendation: CARNELIAN

So, if you are looking for one crystal/stone to start with, I would definitely suggest Carnelian. You can add others as you see fit.

Much love and healing to you and your Uncle.

With love and crystal blessings,

Great Info for all! Thanks!!  (Submitted by: Honey on May 03, 2020)
Thanks so much! Talk about intuition, I had added Carnelian water-stones to my amazon wishlist, lastnight! Right now undergoing Acupuncture therapy and revitalising the kidneys. So! This is great info, thanks for sharing! My plan: My usual "diva spa day" fruity (berries) or vege water (cucumber/lemon) with the water-stones...and just drink all day whilst going about home beauty therapies. Recharge the life batteries! :) xxo  (Submitted by: highheelkitchen on August 23, 2019)
