Tumbled Banded Amethyst

Question:

"Is there any crystals that can help with itchy legs? I suffer from Lymphedema, Chronic Venous Insufficiency, and severe itching on my legs."

Answer:

Hi there J,

Thanks for reaching out to us and oo! This is a tricky one as I've never had to recommend crystals to relief itching but I'm sure there are some which can help.

Before we head into suggestions, I share our disclaimer: Crystals can complement all kinds of therapy but they are not a miracle cure or a substitute for medical advice and/or practices.

The first one which popped into my head is Rose Quartz. Rose Quartz is really soothing and healing for the skin. You could clean some tumbled pieces and then pop them in a spray bottle filled with distilled water and let that charge for 24 hours. You can then lightly mist the legs. Alternatively you can pop some cleaned pieces in a bath with you, just make sure they are bigger chunks and not small pebbles.

Another option would be to get a Rose Quartz Roller and keep that in the fridge. The coolness and the rolling may help relieve some itching.

Other crystals which are said to be helpful for itching skin include the following: Amethyst, Azurite, and Blue Lace Agate. You could use them in the same way, except for Azurite. Azurite is considered toxic so I would NOT recommend it for adding directly to water. You can however get a piece or two if you resonate with this stone and then place it around your water bottle to charge the water. This is known as the indirect method for creating gem waters.

I hope this is helpful :)
