Hi, I have been through all of you FAQ and have not found my topic. I have many of your crystals and love them all.

My question regards my horse. He is a wonderful animal. When he was young and being trained I was told someone hit him with a two by four and broke his nose. He has an indent and scare on the bridge of his nose. I bought him when he was four years old. I was his 4th owner in his young life. I have had him for 3 years now. He was born to run and loves it. My daughter races him in Barrels and Poles. He has run fabulously at times. He also has struggled. He wants to but, something is holding him back.

Sometimes, He becomes so excited that he does not turn the barrels. He is healthy as I have had him to the vet to make sure he was not in any pain. It may be that he is having trouble handling the pressure of the race. It could be he is so anxious he does not listen, I would like to know what stones or crystals you would recommend for me to use to help him stay calm, focus, and enjoy the race. He has the power, ability and heart to do it. I want to find out what I can do to help him clear his mind and live happily.

Thanks for your expertise and time in answering my question,

Stay connected to LOVE and light.

Hi Patti,

I love horses-they are so majestic and beautiful!  It sounds as if your horse is very lucky to have found you (and you, him).

There are definitely some crystals that can assist here.  Let me start with some crystals that can assist in healing from the past abuse and trauma.
Carnelian helps in a variety of ways.  Not only will it assist with the healing process of abuse and trauma, it is also a stone of calm and encouragement.
Iolite can help to recover from abuse/trauma as well as fill the space with encouragement, love and support.
Kunzite can assist in removing blockages that are created to deal with trauma and abuse.  It also is one of the best stones to use for loving support and anxiety issues.
Lapis is a stone of deep peace and calm.  It can also help to strengthen mind and body.
Black Obsidian is said to be a great cleanser of negative energies, helping to remove not only negativity experienced in the environment, but also that of one's own emotions, such as anger, fear, anxiety, etc.
A high-vibrational Heart Chakra Crystal, Peridotcarries a positive energy that is helpful for those undergoing traumatic emotional situations.  The strong Heart Chakra energies are what gives Peridot its ability to inspire unconditional Love.

There are also a number of crystals that can assist with anxiety and performance issues, including:
Amethyst
Aventurine, Green
Calcite, Blue and/or Green
Chlorite in Quartz
Chrysoprase
Epidote
Howlite
Lapis Lazuli
Lepidolite
Lithium in Quartz
Manganocalcite
Strawberry Quartz
Tourmaline, Black

I agree that he could be reacting to the pressure of the race, or it could be the noise factor, etc.  He may have been beaten previously if he did not perform well (or, I am wondering if his previous owners beat him if he DID take off) and this may make him become anxious.  I think with the crystals help and your continued love, he will learn to trust and perform consistently.

If you know of anyone locally that does Reiki and would agree to work on him, that may be of assistance as well. I think, more than anything, your love will see him through :)

Give your lovely boy a kiss and hug for me :) I am sure, with your love, he will come through just fine :)

with love and crystal blessings,
Kristi
