Q: I plan to give the crystals to clients with whom I am doing breathwork healing sessions. They will hold them during their session. Each person obviously will have his/her own things they want to work on. I am starting with this selection, but would welcome recommendations about stones that help dislodge hidden hold-backs from our ability to contact and commune with Spirit.

Dear A,
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.
There are a number of stones that are very helpful to use in removing blocks. I would suggest a word of caution though; in my experience crystals can bring up issues that someone may not be ready to deal with yet. I would start with crystals that work in a slower more subtle manner such as Rose Quartz. This will only bring up issues that the person is ready to accept and move beyond. Kyanite will work to remove any blocks that started on a physical level and Kunzite will remove those of a more spiritual nature. I would work with the Obsidian last, as it has a tendencey to blast through blocks leaving the person sometimes feeling bewildered. Malachite will expose those deep emotional blocks that can leave a person in tears. Lapis Lazuli will work to remove those blocks that are self-imposed, the blocks that allow us to the hide the truth from ourselves.

 Yes, I would def agree with using the Obsidian last. One day I went to a nearby metaphysical store and I was drawn to the obsidian stone. I used it one night and I was not prepared!!! I received a lot of visions of blocks being removed that I wasn't ready to deal with at the time. I haven't used the stone since because it was too powerful for me at the time and that was about 4 years ago! (Submitted by: Tia on March 01, 2011) |
