Rose Quartz is not one I'd generally associate for this. I'd say a strong contender to do this would be Black Obsidian as it's great for shadow work and working with the subconscious BUT, any crystal can bring up deep experiences that may be hidden within the subconscious that is ready to be healed, explored and released if necessary.
Rose Quartz may bring up deeply seated emotional trauma or trauma around relationships that we haven't dealt with or need another glance at from previous work because there is a new facet to explore and heal.
