Bloodstone Tumbles

Question:

"Hi again, it's been some time. What do you know about stones that help a person to let go of idealism? To accept that nothing is perfect, and that nothing should BE perfect. Likewise, to let go of dreams and plans and aspirations for the future."

Answer:

Hi there K,

Good to hear from you.

Now that is a tickling question you ask...
I personally like to use Black Kyanite when I'm letting go of material things, especially if it had some sort of meaning to me and I'm struggling to let it go even though I KNOW it's just not benefiting me anything.

For acceptance, you could look into something like the following:

  • Mookaite is wonderful for releasing things to moving forward. It can also help you to manifest things that you do want in your life.
  • Bloodstone will assist you in living in the present moment.
  • Red Jasper can connect you to the vibrations of the Earth, bringing a greater understanding of events occurring in your life and helping you to accept your current situation and move forward if necessary.

I also feel that being present and grounded will probably serve you with acceptance because you stand in your power and be centered in the present to know that this may not work out and something else will come along.

In addition to that, living from the heart really helps you to see that while the mind may have TONS of stories, the heart knows what it wants and that you are able to draw that into your field of resonance when you truly tap into what you want from the heart: Emerald (Aquamarine on the other hand of the Beryl family can help you to detox from your life what doesn't serve and to go with the flow more in life so that what will be, will be), Green ApophylliteGreen Quartz, and Rhodonite are great for this.

You might also want to look into Shadow work. Most people can easily transmute energies when something frustrates them BUT if it KEEPS coming up and thus remains a trigger for you, that's a call for shadow work to start unraveling why, what, how so that you can transcend.

In this case with triggers and shadow work, using crystals for acceptance can help you but in the long run, it may just be more simpler to do the shadow work around those challenges/issues/triggers in addition to working with your acceptance stone. If you're just working with acceptance and not addressing the root cause then you're going to not go very far with your acceptance crystal bandaid. Just something to consider, especially since I know shadow work isn't sunshine and rainbows.

I hope this helps you on your journey and have a rocking week further!
