One of the things I like to ask people who want to heal others is: "what is your intent?"
Is your intent to "fix" someone? Or is your intent truely to help facilitate them in their own healing journey. It's important for the healer to be a clear channel without having an outcome for the client.
With that said, all of our crystals can be used for healing. What issue is calling to be healed? Having an understanding of what's under the surface is helpful. For example, if someone is wanting to heal their relationship with their spouse, what's underneath the surface? It's not about the spouse, but the client's relationship to the self with the spouse. So it's important to be clear on what's needing the attention.
