I have a golden retriever that will be turning 14 on January 25. I'm taking her to Sedona for her birthday. I believe she'll be reincarnated and this trip is one of new beginnings. The first one that came to mind while reading your mail was Celestite so I'd recommend to check that one out and see if you gravitate toward it. It's not really associated with transition or reincarnation but it's a wonderful stone so perhaps she would like it because it's so gentle and angelic!
For reincarnation, you could look at perhaps Lapis Lazuli or Carnelian. Carnelian was used in ancient times to protect the dead in their journey to the afterlife, while ancient Egyptians knew Lapis Lazuli as the "stone of heaven" and would use it in amulets, cylinder seals, scarabs and funerary masks.
For the transition period, our top favorites include Amethyst, Kunzite, Morganite (an under-rated, heart felt stone! Truly wonderful), Rose Quartz, and Zoisite.
