Hi there D,
Thanks for reaching out to us and I'm so sorry to hear about your niece.
Because she is very young, only 2 months old, I don't want to recommend a bunch of crystals because children and babies are incredibly sensitive to energy and they don't really need a whole lot.
The first one that came into my mind was Rose Quartz. It's soft, gentle, healing, perfect for children of any age and it's a stone that can be associated with the heart on a physical level. If you wanted to go a little bit "further", you could even get a little Rose Quartz heart with the intention of sending healing to your niece in whatever way she needs for surgery.
As always, crystals can offer energetic support but they are not a substitute for medical advice or practices. I really don't want to give false hope that if you use crystals, things will change. Miracles do happen, of that I am sure, but not in the way the media portrays crystals to do.
For the parents, and even you as her aunt, I'd recommend some Tourmaline (any colour you're drawn to) or some Mahogany Obsidian. This is for strength in this challenge that you are all facing. When you feel like things are too overwhelming, feel them and lean on the crystal for support.
