Hi Carmen,
Oh most certainly it is ok to use other stones for a variety of issues that are not related to the astrology sign of Virgo. The stones that are assigned to the astrological sign of Virgo are only a guide and in some cases are quite limited in numbers and supply. Your best guide in this case is your own intuition. Choose what stones you feel will work for you and I bet many will be Virgo stones anyway :)
