When it comes to working with guides, yes you can keep stones and your guides will be with you but it also is a little more than that. Working with guides means asking for their guidance and it also means making time to connect with your guides, and form a relationship with them. Forming a relationship with your guides is going to help you know when they are around you and how they can assist you.
If you lose your stones, you can simply ask your guides with your actual voice. The crystals are a tool but don't forget that YOU are the biggest and most powerful tool so ASK. Don't be afraid to ask and speak to your guides and angels because they won't intervene without your asking.
If you want to learn more about working with Angels, get Kyle Grey's book. Yamile Yemoonyah also has a great book on spirit guides that I'd highly recommend. Both are great authors who can guide you better on the subject of spirit guides for your journey. There's also a plethora of guides YouTube meditations for connecting with guides, look for ones that resonate with you to connect with your guides.
You can read up about the angels here on our website this is going to help you with what their strengths are and why you need them. I cannot tell you why you need certain angels or guides, and you need to discover it on your own.
Crystals are a tool to connect with guides and you can use it to make connection with them and amplify the energy so it makes it easier to connect with your guides. I'd exercise caution with a mindset of "if I hold this crystals my guides will intervene or else" because guides and angels are here to guide us for the highest good. They are not a crutch nor a bandaid. They support us on this journey and we need to ask, coming from a place of love and respect.
How will Rutilated Quartz work for you, I really don't know. You need to work with crystals and see how they effect you. I cannot tell you how things will work for you. My best advice is always going to be: work with your crystals to learn how they will effect you, how they can work for you and what you can learn from them. I can't do that work for you, and I cannot offer you any proof, you've got to find what works for you on your journey. Do the work, it's as simple as that.
Rutile comes in a range of colors, namely gold, silver, brown and other colors. It's just the color of the rutile. There may be slight differences in the energy but they will all work generally the same. You can view our Rutilated Quartz here.
