Hello. I was wondering, what kind of stones should be place in the front foyer, to keep out bad energy and to bring good energy? Do stones work with Vastu Shastra? Thank you.

Yes, crystals are considered as very beneficial influence in Vastu Shastra, a traditional Hindu system of architecture that considers how to build houses to best emphasize the benefits to its occupants (such as prosperity and health). I would recommend Black Obsidian and Black Tourmaline near your front door and in the corners of your home (both inside and outside). Some people like to bury Black Tourmaline in the ground outside, at the four corners of their home. If that is not possible, keeping it inside is fine.
Many also find that large Selenite chunks, spheres, towers, or pyramids and Amethyst Druze increase the calming and relaxing energy within the home.
