Question:

"Do you have any round crystals, egg shaped perhaps? Do I need that shape? I am learning Feng Shui and I know that Crystals amplify energy. I was told for money/job alter I should have an egg shaped or round stones."

 

Answer:

Hi Tabatha :)

I have always been fascinated with Feng Shui. How awesome that you are learning it!

Let's start with a little bit about the shapes and energy flows.You choose what you feel would work best for you.

  • The Egg formation can be used to shape energy and direct its flow. A softer energy flow than that of a direct point or DT.
  • There is also a variety of Lingams, which are polished as well. Not exactly an egg shape (wider on one end and smaller on the other), but very similar. The only difference being that they are the same size on either end. Take a look at some here. The Quartz lingams would really help to amplify the energy of your intent/manifestation (money, job, etc).
  • Spheres are shaped and rounded normally from a larger piece of crystal.The shape allows the energy to flow evenly and equally in every direction at once. We also have a really nice selection of polished Spheres. My favorites are the Ruby Spheres and the combination Ruby/Zoisite spheres. :)
  • The energy flow of a Pyramid is amplified and focused through the apex.
  • When utilizing a Single Terminated Crystal point for healing work, gridding, or other energy work, placing the point away from the body (or center of grid, etc.) will draw energy away and out. Facing the point towards the body (or grid, etc.) will bring the energy into the area.
  • A Doubly Terminated Crystal (points on both ends) channels energy in two directions at the same time. They can also create a bridge of energy between two areas.
  • You may also want to consider Cabochons - they are polished with a domed face and flat on the bottom. These would be perfect to sit on an altar and they come in a wide variety of stone choices.
