I would like your input on which crystals I should purchase to opening psychic/intuitive/clarivoiant abilities. I just received your email about the Heart Chakra. It was mentioned that Emerald would work good for this for what I'm looking for but it also looks like Chrome Diopside would probably be better yet. Thanks for your help.
One other question I just thought of is would you recommend only one type of crystal to wear at a time. I've heard this before instead of having a variety on you.

Greetings and thank you for writing in. Regarding your second question first, there are some who say that wearing more than one type of crystal at a time will cancel the energies out. While I can see how this is generally true, there are exceptions. The main exception is Clear Quartz with other stones because the Quartz will amplify any other stone it is with. This is why you will often see a Clear Quartz Pendant with another, usually smaller, stone attached to it. This is true for any mineral in the Quartz family, such as Citrine or Amethyst, for example. Another exception to the multiple stone rule is a chakra pendant. These types of pendants are made up of crystals that are specifically combined for aligning and balancing the chakras, and are usually connected by a setting of either silver or gold. The stones are usually small and in the same order as the chakras they represent. We have these types of pendants here, if you'd like to see what they look like:

One of the best crystals for opening psychic abilities is Amethyst. Well known for its spiritual energies, Amethyst works with the Third-Eye Chakra to connect the physical plane with the higher realms.
