I suffer from chronic back pain. I've had surgery, and exhausted all other procedures available. I'm looking for an alternative way to deal with the pain. I have never used crystals, so I'd like to know how I would use them. Thank you.

Hi K,

I am so sorry to hear about your problem. Some crystals that can be helpful for chronic back pain are Smokey Quartz, Selenite, Lapis Lazuli and Malachite. Because you have an ongoing problem, I recommend you keep the stones on you all the time for best results. You could wear them as a necklace, bracelet or carry tumbled stones in your pocket – whatever is most comfortable for you. It would also be beneficial to periodically lay face down and have someone place the crystals on your back directly on the areas that are the most painful or along the spine. The best way to work with crystals is to allow your intuition to guide you. For example, listen to your inner guidance if you feel compelled to use the crystals a certain way or if you are attracted/turned-off by certain crystals. Also, when using crystals for healing purposes, their energy should be cleared frequently so they maintain their effectiveness. Here is an article with information on this. Please let us know if you have any other questions. I hope you enjoy working with crystals and are able to find some relief.

Crystal Blessings,

Stephanie
