Question:

"Can you advise what healing stones I can get for a beloved old kitty with kidney issues not stones? He saved my life + I love him."

Answer:

Hi there C,

Thanks for reaching out to us and I sincerely apologise for my delayed response!

I'm so sorry to hear about your furbaby! We love our furkids so much so I understand that you want the best for him. Let's see what crystals I can recommend for his energetic wellbeing!!

Quick question, is he in any pain? If he's in pain, you can try keeping some Smokey Quartz or Rose Quartz in his bed during one of his nap sessions. Be sure to clear it before and after his nap. You'll notice that after he's had enough, he will most likely get up and move either to another spot or away from where you've put the crystal.

In general, these are crystals which all support the kidneys:
Bloodstone (especially good for detoxing if needed and general healing), CarnelianCitrine (especially helpful for digestive complaints), Clear QuartzEpidoteHematiteHoney Calcite (also really good for nausea), JadePrehniteRose Quartz, and Sunstone.

I'd recommend taking a look at each one with his highest good in your mind and then see which you're drawn to. If you already have some of these at home with you, give them a clearing and show them to him, see if he doesn't go toward one of them.

For his healing, you can keep these in his bed as I mentioned above, but don't keep it there permanently. Give him a healing session, once a week if you feel to do so. Animals absorb what they need and because they cannot tell us they've had enough, they move away. For more tips, here is our Crystal Healing for Pets article for you.

If you're keeping crystals in his bed, always ensure they are big enough that he won't swallow it or you can keep it in a pouch under his cushion or something like that.

You can also charge some water for him if you'd like to go that route and you can read more about charging water here.

I hope this helps!
Sending the both of you some love and healing today :)
