Question:

"What crystals will help heal my trigger thumb. I have seen doctor and I am presently wearing a splint, and using essential oils. Would like to add crystals to healing process. I firmly believe that oils and crystal help heal the body and mind. Thank you."

Answer:

Good morning L,

I did some research and I wanted to offer quite a few suggestions for you. I couldn't find anything specifically for trigger finger at all in my books sadly, so I wanted to touch on a few areas:

To Support the Joints:
To help more with flexibility Azurite/MalachitePetalite or Septarian is recommended, and to wear, carry or hold it to the relevant joints/areas (thumb in your case). CalciteRhodonite, and Magnetite also suggest for the joints.

To Support Tendons:
DumortieriteLepidolite or Magnesite can be held or taped to the affected area, but I think that a gentle massage could also be beneficial. I talk more about that below.

Easing Inflammation:
Because trigger finger occurs when that tendon becomes inflamed, crystals for inflammation may be wonderful support. Something like Blue Lace Agate and Blue Calcite. If you can find a polished wand or even a cabochon, that can be lovely for massaging the actual pad and palm around the thumb. This may also bring relief from stiffness because you are gently working that area and smoothing it out, like you do when you go for a massage and you massage the knots out.

Hands:
To support dexterity, you can hold Bumble Bee Jasper (please ensure it's a polished piece), Hematite or Lemon Chrysoprase each day. MoldaviteAquamarine, and Moonstone are also suggested for being of support for the hands.

I hope this helps and if there are any specific symptoms or challenges you have which I didn't touch upon, you're welcome to let me know :)
