Lapis Lazuli Slabs

Question:

"My husband has occasional problems with sleep apnea. I find plenty of stones for sleep in general, but nothing much for the holding of breath with apnea. Thank you!!"

Answer:

Hi J,

Thank you for reaching out to us and I apologise for my delayed response. You're right, there is a lot of stones recommended for better sleeping or relieving insomnia, but very little for sleep apnea so I decided to research it a little more for you.

Because sleep apnea effects the breathing, here are some suggestions to assist with breathing (source):

  • Chrysocolla energetically treats difficulty in breathing.
  • Lepidolite calms breathing and the mind.
  • Amethyst is anti-inflammatory and eases air flow.

I would say that any crystals linked to the breath and improving breath or assisting with breathing problems will be helpful for him. These crystals would include: AmberApophylliteRhodochrositeTurquoise. Another one I'd recommend is Aquamarine and you can take a look into that.

From our common conditions we recommend the following three crystals:

  • Lapis Lazuli - Lapis is known to assist with sleep apnea. Lapis is also connected to the air element, so it can also support breathwork and better breathing.
  • Celestite - Celestite can aid the healing of disorders such as ailments of throat. This can help with breathing and also because Celestite is peaceful, it can also encourage better sleep and breathing.
  • Cinnabar - is also known to be helpful with sleep apnea BUT because this is a toxic stone, it's one I'd recommend to keep near the bedside as opposed to keeping a piece under the pillow or near the box. You'd need to wash your hands after handling.

Something else you can try is: Smokey Quartz at your feet or foot of the bed (source).

I hope that these suggestions for energetic support serve you well.
