"One of my very good friends has just been diagnosed with ocular melanoma. We are waiting to see if it has metastasized (in most cases it does). I'm looking for a crystal, or crystal combination that will help with healing. Preferably something she can wear on a necklace. Can you give any recommendations? Thank you."

Thank you for your crystal inquiry. I am very sorry to hear about your friend and I send healing light to her.

For the cancer diagnosis I would recommend the following:

  • Amethyst is an all around healing crystal, helping with physical healing and providing a general sense of well being.
  • Emerald is a superb healing crystal for the eyes. It provides strength and healing but also provides a sense of hope.

For assisting in treatments you could try these:

  • Malachite to stimulate the immune system, to treat and repair cellular and DNA structure.
  • Epidote used to help dissipate tumors by releasing stagnant energies in the area. More on Epidote here.
