Q: Does the polarity make a difference when using for meditation vs healing? I notice that some crystals are single terminated and others double. Are the double better for mediation or channeling or does it really matter?

Dear Cliff
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care. With that said, for your condition, I would like to start by suggesting some crystals that can help to ease pain, uplift the spirit, and remove/release anger and fear.
With double terminated crystals, one end is usually tapered to a smaller point, this end is called the male end and the larger point is the female point. The male point can be used to send a concentrated beam of energy. The female end can be used to send a larger beam of energy or it can be used to pull negative energy. When used in a grid to send energy long distance use the male or small point toward the center of the grid. To enhance the energy of a home, lay the small points facing out. For meditation you can lay the crystal with the small point facing you to draw the energy toward you. Double terminated crystals are so versitile, and will help you find new uses over and over.
