Question:

"Hi, do you know if there’re crystals which will heal sexuality? I used to feel attracted to the opposite sex but because of recent traumatic event, I feel anxious towards them now. And I feel anxiety in root and sacral chakra (I think). Is there a way to heal the trauma and restore the attraction?"

 

Answer:

Hi there S,

Thank you for reaching out to us and I'm sorry for what you've gone through.
Healing trauma, especially sexual takes quite some time so be gentle with yourself and take your time. You need to feel safe again and that is why you feel anxiety in the root (this is where safety and security stems from) as well as sacral (where emotional trauma can sit).

There are no crystals that can heal trauma or sexuality overnight. It will take time but these crystals can help support healing:

  • Spirit Quartz - great for any trauma and helps recover yourself and offer protection.
  • Pink/Peach Agate with Smokey Quartz - great for nurturing and forgiveness.
  • Lepidolite - great for anxiety relief and brings stability.
  • Amazonite - great for emotional trauma and you can hold that at your Solar Plexus and allow it to work through your breath. Also a wonderful crystal for women, as is Moonstone (regular and rainbow)!
  • Pink Mangano Calcite - great for turmoil and you can work with this at your Root Chakra specifically to help with this.

Root Chakra Stones: Black Tourmaline, Red Aventurine (also great to release anger), Red Jasper, Smokey Quartz - they can help to bring balance and stability to the root chakra. It will also help to begin working through what you've experienced so as to release it.

Sacral Chakra Stones: Carnelian, Orange Aventurine, Orange Calcite, Tangerine Quartz - to bring balance and stability, especially emotionally at the Sacral Chakra. You can also work with crystals for communication such as Blue Lace Agate, Blue Quartz, Blue Topaz, Larimar, Aquamarine, Dumortierite, Sodalite to help you express emotions if necessary. Both these two chakras are closely related.
