Gemini is the headliner during the month of June. It is the first Air sign in the Astrological year and it brings us the opportunity for some productive introspection. Gemini's dual personality makes it the perfect energy to use to really study an idea and/or situation, because it allows you to see all sides and get a full picture. When you create your grid this month try placing it in a location that encourages a positive flow of thoughts and ideas to gain the most benefit from this contemplative energy. Here are some of the energies that you have to work with this month.
TOP OF CENTER: NEW MOON IN TAURUS - MAY 18TH
The New Moon begins in Taurus and ends in Gemini during its 3-day cycle. Use it to see the value in what you have and expand upon that before you seek something completely new. There is a lot of potential to find unrealized peace and healing through your current circumstances. Sugilite will help you to understand your resources and use it to invigorate your future plans.
CENTER OF GRID: SUN IN GEMINI - MAY 21ST
While Gemini has a serious side, the overall atmosphere is upbeat and adventurous. You are happy with what you’ve got so you won’t be driven by dissatisfaction, but you will be curious. Gemini energy is intellectual and gregarious so you will be looking for new opportunities that will stimulate your life. The greatest challenge is in choosing which new activities, persons and situations will quench your thirst for excitement and add to the overall quality of your life. Apatite will stimulate you mentally, while it balances your stamina so that you can enjoy all the benefits of this exciting month without feeling overwhelmed.
BENEATH CENTER: FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS - JUNE 2ND
A Full Moon in enthusiastic Sagittarius will be the perfect match to Gemini’s analytical nature. It will help you to break through the indecision and second-guessing that can make it a challenge to act. The Gemini energy will enable you to devise a well-considered and fabulous plan for growth, but you need to set things in motion and this Full Moon can get you there. You want to proceed at a measured pace, considering the slower atmosphere courtesy of Mercury in Retrograde, so use Ruby in Kyanite to get things moving in a positive direction.
QUARTERS
The Quarters of your Grid will represent the significant transits of the month. When considering the placement on your Grid, remember that the Left side is receptive and will open you to new ideas, while the Right Side is productive and will assist you with putting those ideas into action. Top Right: On May 22nd, the Sun and Saturn are in an opposition, bringing obstacles that you have been avoiding front and center. You want to be cautious and strategic since you may have the urge to take impulsive actions and those could have unpleasant ramifications. Use patience, perseverance and a positive attitude to help you conquer rather than avoid and know it may take a little longer, but you will achieve your goals. Use Rhyolite for strength and strategy.
Top Left: On May 25th you want to be honest and compassionate with yourself and others. A Mars/Neptune square will bring up problems and issues that you might try to ignore, but if you do, they will come back again. This energy is very powerful and you want to be open to resolving things once and for all. Aquamarine will make you more receptive to messages (particularly in your dreams!) that will be a great help in your efforts at resolution.
Bottom Right: Are you ready for a blast from the past? On June 14th, Saturn leaves Sagittarius to finish its tour through Scorpio. The energy will be a little gentler this time around and it is meant to give you another chance to review your past for anything that is harming you in the present. It is time to bring out the ultimate healer – forgiveness! Selenite will help you to find it, use it and realize the impact that it will have on your life.
Bottom Left: On June 5th, Venus moves into Leo, reminding you that it is important to be proud of who you are and what you have to offer. This energy is warm and generous, while at the same time, it reminds you that you deserve to receive what you give in kind. Use it with the Gemini energy to attract relationships and situations that are worthy of you. Tiger Eye will enable you to recognize yourself and appreciate your value.
Finish your Grid by surrounding it with crystals to amplify the energies. Use at least one Crystal to represent the Month and then any others that with amplify the energies. Zebra Jasper will represent June and Clear Quartz will amplify the energies of the crystals.
