It's that time of year again as Mercury turns retrograde in Sagittarius. Double check everything you do, leave plenty of travel time to get where you need to go and be especially cautious in your communications with others. Sag's opinions and sarcasm won't come off well under Mercury's influence. It is easy to be too sharp and cut someone without meaning to. Malachite will help to heal any wounds and Lapis Lazuli will give you the inner strength to communicate with love rather than anger.
THURSDAY, 11/24
A day to be thankful for all that we have and with the trickster Mercury giving us pause you may just want to be thankful if you get to Grandma's on time for dinner. Mercury retrograde isn't all bad though and now is a good time to look at ways it can work for you, rather than against you. It's kind of like getting caught in a wave. You don't want to fight it or you could drown. If, however, you just ride it out you may end up right where you are meant to be. During the next 3 weeks use this energy to see where things need to be revised and readjusted in your life. Lepidolite is a fabulous crystal to help you find those areas that need adjustment and Charoite will give you the strength to ride out the wave.
FRIDAY, 11/25
The energy is explosive today with a New Moon, a partial solar eclipse and four planets all in Sagittarius. The union of the Moon and the Sun amplifies the expansive energy of Sag making this an awesome time to look at the big picture of how you want your life to be. This is "go big or go home" kind of energy that encourages you to manifest more, dream bigger and generally reach for the stars. If you're concerned about Mercury, don't be. Remember when I suggested doing some revisions and readjustments? Those kinds of activities are supported now along with any new beginning you care to make. This is an excellent time to change your entire belief system and make extraordinary changes with far reaching benefits. It is imperative that you have a clear intent. Venus leaves carefree Sagittarius today and moves into practical Capricorn ushering in a more grounded, conventional atmosphere. This has been a wild and crazy month and I hope you are all making the most of the incredible energy at your disposal. Still one month to go in 2011 and it starts off with Pluto in conjunction with Venus giving us confidence, focus and charm. You can go a long way towards getting what you want (both personally and professionally) in regards to partnerships, business and finance. Don't force anything.
