Question:

"It's about 2/3 weeks that I have placed a rose quartz in my bedroom. I sometimes sleep with it and place it on my chest. I have also done some meditation before bed time using my rose quartz.

For the past week and half, I've been experiencing immense chest pain and difficulty breathing, also alot of past emotions have been surfacing. I don't feel too sad, I am rather accepting this and have decided to make some positive changes. I have been to a doctor, medically I am fine.

Could the pain in my chest be stimulated by the Rose Quartz?"

Answer:

Greetings T,

Thank you for your crystal inquiry.

If you are not doing so already, cleanse the crystal frequently as you are using it every day. Here is a link to accomplish that task.
Since Rose Quartz is associated to the Heart chakra it may very well be working on opening up that chakra. This energy may cause some discomfort in the chest as it brings up old emotions and past hurts to be released and removed. If it is too uncomfortable try using the Rose quartz less frequently or you could use an Aventurine. Aventurine is also connected to the Heart chakra and adds an extra boost of healing to those things that keep coming up.
Mookaite can release and remove these past emotions and help one to move forward in a positive way.

I hope you find this helpful!
