I am very pleased with the cryastals. Thank you and yours so much. I have a question about cleansing. It is said running water is a good cleanser. If you placed your crystals in a cascading fountain would you need to change the water or would the old energy just dissapate?
I just think this would be a more peaceful way to clear rather than running tap water over them. Thanks.
Thanks for your email and for your kind words. You ask a great question. Crystals absorb energy from the environment and from people around them. When cleansing crystals with water, some of this energy does transfer into the water and the water can also hold these energies. However, since water is fluid and would be running in a fountain, it is less likely to hold a particular vibration for very long due to the constant movement. I would recommend changing the water when it stops smelling fresh or if you begin to just "feel" that it is time to change the water. Pay attention to your intuition and always do what feels right to you.
Your idea to use a running fountain to cleanse your stones is a wonderful idea as it takes little of your time and when you need a stone, you can always pluck it out of the fountain and begin using a fresh stone each time. This would be a great method to add to our article on clearing crystals. In case you are interested in learning about other methods for clearing crystals as well, I am including a link to an article that may find useful:
Many Blessings to you and your family for a wonderful new year and we look forward to hearing back from you again.
Love and Harmony,
