I read that it's good luck to place a citrine point in the far corner of the house, but which corner is that? is that from the front door? I also read that I can protect the house by placing four selenite stones in the four corners of the house, should they be inside or outside of the house?

According to Black Hat Fung Shui, the far left corner of the house (from the front door) is the abundance area of the home. Gold and Red are perfect there.
The fourSelenite pieces should go in the corners of the house; not outside. Outside the Selenite can dissolve with water. If you wanted to put something outside, I would suggest Black Tourmaline.
