I had no idea that the gemstones could be toxic until I saw your article. I have long thought of creating elixirs. If you use the stones surrounding the container on the outside will it still transfer the toxic energy into the elixir

Hi P:

Thanks for your question how to charge water with crystals that may be toxic.

It is fine to keep them on the outside of the container.  As long as you do not place them in the water then the toxic elements will have no effect on your water.  By placing them on the outside of the container you will still achieve the healing benefits and charge the water without any dangers.  It is a good idea to wash your hands after handling the crystals as well...just in case anything is transferred.  Be sure to always check our Crystal Cautionsguide to use crystals safely and effectively.

Thanks for your question and I hope this helps.  Thank you again for your questions and your support of Healing Crystals.com.  Please let us know if we can be of any further service.

Wishing you lots of Love and Light!

Crystal Blessings!
