Here is a Question from One of Our Customers:

I'm going to start charging my crystals for the first time.  I've always cleared them but first time to start charging and as you know ..... I have a lot of them now. I want to use the moon cycle as I'm drawn to the moon and water, zodiac sign is cancer.  So it makes sense.  Since we are in the waning moon phase tonight I should charge the crystals that are for (protection)?  also with Malachite I've been told it helps protect against the evil eye so protection also right?  Haven't started anything yet getting all my information together before I do anything.

Dear L,
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

In Charging crystals by Moon light, you are very right that when to charge is just as important as how to charge. Waning Moon is used to dispel negative energy and to Invoke the Crone aspect of the Triple Goddess. Full Moon is for general charging and is a more subtle and gentler energy them sun charging. Waxing Moon is for abundance, fertility, wealth and happiness. I have included a link to a good article on Moon cycles and charging. I hope you find it useful.
