Question:

"Hello, I'm looking for a crystal for a 14 year old boy who just lost his Father in an unexpected death. Please advise. Also I was thinking of rose quartz for his 3 year old sister?"

Answer:

Hi D,

Thank you so much for reaching out. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of the father to this children. I personally believe that giving them some crystals is a beautiful way to help with their grief.

A lovely piece of Rose Quartz sounds perfect for the little girl as that crystal is all about love. It carries such a soft, gentle energy to it and is a true healer of the heart.

For the boy - intuitively, I immediately thought of Ruby in Zoisite. It is especially helpful during the grieving process. It facilitates releasing pain and sorrow.

Another one that came to me is Apache Tear - it is the gentle clearer form of Obsidian. It is the perfect receptacle for your grief and for the emotions that accompany it. It accepts any negative feelings and transmutes them into positive beneficial vibes, holding a safe space for you to grieve.

I hope that this helps. Sending all involved so much love.
