Tumbled Copal

Question:

"Is it safe to recharge amber also in the sun like one does it in a moon bath? What do you think about that choice?"

Answer:

Hi V,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

It is fine to charge your crystals and Amber or Copal in the sun BUT less is more with the sun.
The sun is incredibly powerful and while crystals, minerals and more do tend to be hardy, not much is built to withstand the energy and power of the sun. Sand dries out, grass dies, skin burns, crystals fade, etc.
So if you are called to recharge your amber with the sun, I shall say to honor your intuition and listen to yourself, but don't leave it out there for a full day or week, 10 minutes is enough in full sun and should do the job. After you've done your charging, spend a little time with your Amber and see how it feels. This is also going to give you a good gauge if it needs more recharging or another method or if it's burnt it out a little.

If it's burnt out, that's okay, just leave it be for a day or two to just come back to normal (as you do if you are a little sunburnt).

I hope this helps :)
