Thanks for reaching out to Healing Crystals.
Yes, Selenite and Satin Spar sold as Selenite, have the same qualities. They do not need to be cleansed, but you certainly can if you want to. You can also use them to cleanse other crystals.
This is not true for Carnelian, however. Carnelian should be cleansed and charged, and while it isn't typically used to charge other stones, there's no harm in experimenting with it and seeing if it does in fact lend energy to other stones. If you find that it doesn't seem to work that way for you, clear quartz and copper are both known to charge and amplify the qualities of other crystals.
