I have just ordered some Jet and read that, in conjunction with Moldavite, it can be used for Void Meditation. I am not familiar with that term and would be grateful if you could explain what it is. Thank you.

Thank you for your question about Void Meditation and how Jet and Moldavitecan help.
Void Meditation is one of the main types of meditation and it involves clearing your mind of all thought. Basically you are creating a "void" in your head that can be filled with messages and insights from higher sources (including your higher self). It can be tricky and is the thing that most people are challenged by if they struggle with meditation. I can tell you from personal experience it is really hard to shut out the world and your thoughts! It is essential for meditation though because it helps you to focus achieve a peace of mind. Void Meditation is also helpful if you tend to dwell on things since it can help you learn how to dismiss a thought/distraction to retain your peace.
Jetis helpful with Void Meditation because it has fantastic clearing abilities. It can eliminate those negative thoughts (aren't those always the ones that won't go away) and help you to clear an overabundance of anything. Moldavitehelps you to achieve the "void" state by opening your chakras for clearing (in particular the Third Eye) and once you are in your peaceful state it will bring in the higher energies. Moldaviteis very powerful and the Jet also helps to ground it's energy so that it is more "user" friendly. As much as I work with crystals, I cannot be around Moldavite for a long period of time because of the high frequency of it's energy.
