Question:

"Hi! Can I get recommendations for crystals that help “highly sensitive people”? I am very sensitive to lights, noise, and other people’s emotions. The holidays are hard on me; I’m trying to prepare myself. On top of that I’ve had a traumatic brain injury so my sensitivity has increased quite a bit. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated."

Answer:

Greetings,

Thank you for your crystal inquiry! While the holidays can be tough on everyone, sensitive people and empaths are the hardest hit by the season. Protecting yourself is a high priority so here is what I recommend:

Hematite
is great for soothing emotions and help keep you grounded and centered. It can help you create a shield around yourself against unwanted vibes.
Fluorite
can help you to balance your emotions when you feel a bit out of sorts by placing between the eyebrows for some added clarity.
Black Tourmaline
is a most powerful protection stone. Carry a piece with you to keep negative energy away so it is not absorbed by you.
Amethyst
will give an instant calm when you hold it and will offer psychic protection.
Malachite
can help relieve headaches, stagnant emotions and any pain. When you get tense and your neck starts aching Malachite can help to relieve it.

Be sure to cleanse your crystals frequently and their energy can become depleted. Try resting them on some Selenite. You can put them in a bowl around a Selenite rod or just lay them on it at night to help recharge them.

I hope you find this helpful!
