On a good day, you always want to give a cleansed crystal to a new owner, but this isn't always possible.
When this is the case, we can hold space that the person will have the knowledge and sense to cleanse it before working with it. If you know the person, I'd recommend reaching out to them and letting them know this. If not, hold the space for them :)
