Tumbled Moonstone

Question:

"Will Feng Shui, tumbled black moonstone tumbled stone thicken hair? Will Black tourmaline smooth my wrinkles? And what crystals can help with improved sleep and varicose veins?"

Answer:

Hi there S,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Crystals can only support the body energetically. They can complement all forms of therapy but they are not a replacement for medical advice or treatment. They offer no guarantees so no, Black Moonstone is most likely not going to thicken your hair. You can use it to support the scalp and hair though by massaging the scalp or perhaps charging your shampoo and conditioner with it (more about charging water here).

Black Tourmaline (and any crystal) also will not smooth wrinkles for the same reasons. You could use Rose Quartz though which is known to support the skin and face, but it won't change anything physically. Rose Quartz can also support the body with varicose veins, not to take it away but to massage the skin. I'd also recommend visiting a professional for advice on this because crystals won't take away the varicose veins.

Crystals for sleep include Amethyst, Howlite, Celestite, Blue Lace Agate and Rose Quartz. Keep a piece next to your bed, meditate with it before bed or keep a polished piece in your pillowcase. They all help encourage better sleep, but again if you're struggling, visit your doctor for advice as sleep problems can stem from quite a few issues: hormones, diet, lack of movement, sunlight, stress and anxiety, etc.

Hope this helps!
