Is it safe to wear crystals 24/7? I have been taking a bath and sleeping with my semi precious stones. I read some stones are harmful for the body. Thanks for your help!
Thanks for reaching out to us. When working with crystals, you will need to pay attention to your intuition and how the crystals make you feel. Yes, you absolutely can wear crystals 24/7, as long as you are comfortable doing so. Some crystals may keep you up at night because of their energy, and you may wish to place them in another room while you sleep. I find that sometimes I need a break from crystals that I carry a lot and therefore I take them off every night and sometimes I will leave them home for a day or two.
Most crystals are safe to handle or wear, especially in tumbled form, even if they contain toxic components. Here is a link to our list of Crystal Cautions for you to check the specific crystals you have. Crystals can go in the water with you, but you will want to be careful with soft or fragile crystals like Selenite, as they could become damaged. You will also want to be careful with certain crystals that are toxic and it is a better idea to place these next to the tub or inside a glass jar before placing it in the bath water. I hope this helps and you enjoy working with your crystals. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope your journey is blessed with Love and Light.
