Tangerine Aura / Melon Aura Quartz Oval Cabochon
We had a small batch of "Extra/A" Grade Clear Quartz Cabochons from Brazil and then sent them to be "aura" treated and they turned out beautifully.

Tangerine/Melon Aura is created when Clear Quartz Crystals are super-heated in a vacuum chamber and infused with vaporized Gold & Iron oxide. These precious metals condense onto the surface of the quartz crystal to form a permanent bond with the lattice of the quartz. By combining the vibrations of quartz with gold and iron oxide, a synthesis of unique vibrations is created. Tangerine/Melon Aura is not to be confused with Tangerine Quartz which is not the same crystal even though they share similar properties.
