Tumbled Green Goldstone from India

This Tumbled Green Goldstone is one of our few synthetic/man-made stones, and many still are attracted to its sparkle. It was invented by the Miotti family in Venice during the seventeenth century, and because glass is made from Quartz sand (silica), Goldstone has found its way into the healing community. Despite what its name implies, there is no gold in Goldstone; in fact, Goldstone is man-made glass infused with copper particles; the additions of chromium result in the shimmery Green Goldstone. Green Goldstone is a rich, dark green color with beautiful flecks of copper suspended inside.

Sparkling Green Goldstone connects with the Heart Chakra and is especially good for emotional healing. The copper contained in Goldstone makes it very effective for physical healing, especially for pain and inflammation. It is a nervous system stimulant and enhances the transmission of healing energies from the hands; therefore it is applicable to long distance healing.
