Blue Tourmaline, also known as Indicolite, is a member of the Tourmaline family. Tourmaline is by far the most colorful group, including Elbaite (multi-colored), Verdelite (green), Rubellite (red to deep pink) and Watermelon (pink with green rind).
Blue Tourmaline is often used to enhance communication by enabling you to speak honestly and through the heart. It is a stone of compassion, and helps one to be more open-minded.
Blue Tourmaline can open up communication with higher realms, and helps one find the cause of illness. By concentrating on the Third Eye, Blue Tourmaline can increase perception, intuition and psychic abilities.
