Are Black Tourmaline and Warrierite the same crystal? Or is Warrierite a different version of Black Tourmaline?

Hi C,

Thanks for your question. Warrierite is a name given to high grade Black Tourmaline from Australia. It is named after its location, Warriedar Station near Mongers Lake. You can read about it on these websites:  http://www.aradon.com.au/black_tourmaline.html  or http://www.mindat.org/loc-246037.html.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope your journey is blessed with Love and Light.

Crystal Blessings,

Stephanie A.
