Agatized Coral is tan, light cream or light brown, with cream fossilized spots or patterns that resemble flowers or suns. It occurs naturally when silica in ocean water hardens, replacing the limey corals with Agate, a variety of Chalcedony. This long fossilization process (20–30 million years) results in the formation of a "pseudomorph," meaning that one mineral has replaced another without having lost its original form.

"Agatized Coral can be used to support trauma therapy and assists in working through emotional issues from dysfunctional families or relationships. It provides the primary energy toward the activation of the divine nature and infinite perfection which is within the self. Agatized Coral can facilitate the projection of energy to create, to sustain, to change, to modify ..." - Love is in the Earth-Kaleidoscopic Pictorial, Supplement A by Melody.

Fiction writers can benefit from Agatized Coral as it enhances the imagination without hindering the integrity of the story.

It is also a calming stone, often keeping tempers from flaring. Place a piece in your home to help dysfunctional family members to mend old grievances and/or patterns of behavior so that the entire family is harmonious and better able to move forward.

Physically, you can use Agatized Coral to alleviate weakness in the bones from osteoporosis and brittle bone disease.
