Question:
"I was in the sun with my Quartz Crystal necklace my daughter gave me and I received a serious burn. Worn it all summer and this was the first time it happened. What’s up with that?"
Answer:
Hi there L,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I am sorry that it happened to you and I hope that you put on some ointment to help heal.
There is a popular meme on social media where a crystal owner says to the customer to not leave Clear Quartz in the sun. The customer thinking that it's for some woo-woo reason asks why and the crystal owner responds with the fact that it can cause a fire in the right circumstances. It's always been taken as a joke but it is actually the truth.
It's very possible that when you got the burn, it was the ideal environmental circumstances for that crystal to give your skin a burn. Similar to how a magnifying glass can burn wood. In this instance I don't think there is any meaning to what happened except the human+nature explanation. It happens sometimes.
