hello.  i am a novice at this even though i have been drawn to crystals my whole life.  my question is if you are working with a crystal for a specific problem, can you work with several different crystals at separate times or is it better to use one crystal for a period of time? also, your website is awesome!!  i just bought my first crystal book that tells which stone is good for this and that, but it doesnt answer question.  my friend who has ventured into this with me asked me which metals work with amethyst?  i am assuming she means like for jewelry.  i am thinking silver, but i dont know and haven't found that answer either.  also does it matter if the crystals are in rough form or tumbled??  that you for your time, i am looking forward to your answers.

Dear Elizabeth~

Greetings and thank you for your question!  I work with all types of crystals and they all have some type of healing energies.  If you are new to working with crystals, may I suggest trying one stone at a time on a particular area.  Get a feel for each crystal individually, before you start combining them.

As far as metals are concerned...  I guess it would depend on your purposes.  Silver is a very lunar metal, enhancing intuition and focusing on the Third-Eye Chakra, while Gold is more of a Solar Plexus Chakra stone, with effects on the will and ability to be open minded.  So which metal you want to use would depend on your purposes.

Crystals carry their vibration in their own DNA, which cannot be altered by cutting, chipping, or polishing.  So it doesn't matter if a stone is tumbled, rough, or polished. That being said, certain shapes seem to amplify the energies of a particular crystall better.  For example, Selenite can be found in wands, but also in shapes like hearts or spheres.  I have found the raw Selenite Wands to be more effective for me than the hearts, but everyone is different.  What resonates with me strongly may not resonate the same for you.  So there are guidelines with crystals, but no actual rules....  kind of like how life should be, eh?

I hope this is what you were looking for.  If you'd like to look at our Selenite, see this page:

Love and Peace,
