Do crystal phantoms have to be fully formed to be considered a phantom? In other words, if I can see just half of a point or other formation inside my quartz point, is it still called a phantom?

Yes, basically, a phantom is a "ghost" within another crystal, so I believe that whether you see only half of that ghost or a whole ghost, it is still considered a phantom.

Hi, I haven't looked over the entire site as of yet, but I'd like to say that I've learned more here in the past couple of hours here than I have at some other sites! I just wanted to say I'm thankful that this site is here and has information on crystals other than their physical properties, as well as much information that I find very interesting.

I was reading over the "Crystal Formations" page, and read the entry on Channel Face crystals... And I realized, as I held a crystal in my hand, that I might have the very crystal in the picture! Either that, or a relative of it, so to speak... I held my crystal at the same angle as the picture, and it seems to be identical! It has a face with 7 sides, which seems to be the same size and shape, as well as the markings on the one side of the crystal. I felt something in the crystal as I held it... Is it possible that I really have that very crystal? If so, it makes me very excited! The crystal is physically damaged, the point of the tip is chipped down some... But I love this crystal, and it came with a warm feeling when I got it!

I also read over the Record Keeping entry... Is it possible that other crystals, without any sort of markers, could carry information in the same way? And is it possible that one of these crystals could be wiped of information?

The channel face crystal in the photo actually resides in Shelton, WA but it is very possible that you have a relative piece. How exciting is that? It sounds like you and your channel face crystal will do some wonderful work together! That warm feeling you get when you hold the crystal is a very special energetic connection with it

Many crystals, besides Record Keepers, do carry information within. Lemurians and Atlantean crystals carry information about the races that seeded them here on earth. They do not necessarily have to have a record keeper marking on them. Many Tabular Quartz Crystals have notches on them, that when rubbed, can help to release the stored information to the user. Activation crystals, also called Time Line or Time Link crystals carry information about the past and/or the future. Cathedral Quartz (also called Light Library) carry information within on the Akashic records or can give the holder access to the Hall of Records. So most definitely, there are many other crystals, that hold information and do not necessarily have a record keeper marking.

Personally, I do not feel that any crystal that holds information can be wiped clean. The information is deep within its structure, energetically embedded in its lattice. I feel that each person receives the exact information that they are supposed to receive from the crystal. And if that crystal is passed on, the next person will receive exactly the information that THEY are supposed to receive, and on and on it goes Does that make sense?

Hello Kristy,

First, this is a wonderful site. I keep learning so much from the information here. I was wondering if you could help me with what I think is a "record keeper" crystal. Do the markings have to be so small to be a true record keeper? I have a crystal that I ordered from a wholesale lot and it has an etched triangular shape it in (the lower left corner is not there because it becomes another face of the crystal) and it has a thinner marking around the original etching. It isn't "raised" but etched into the face of the crystal. I can feel it with my finger. I measured it and it's about 7-8mm.

Thank you for your help. I also have an "isis" crystal from the same order. They are wonderful!

Thank you! I am so happy you are here and are learning from the information!

The triangular shape can be raised or etched, large or small. There can be a single record keeper on a face, or many. The main factor to look for is the triangular shape itself. It sounds like you do indeed have a record keeper crystal. They are filled with information and I am excited to see what this crystal brings forth to you! As you work with the Record Keeper, it is a good idea to keep a journal near by so that you can write down the information that comes forth from the crystal. Pay close attention to what you hear or see while working with the crystal. It can be something as simple as a voice or a picture that pops up in your head while you are holding the crystal. Trust what you receive without question This is the first step to communicating with your special crystal
