 Sounds like onyx is the same as every other "healing" stone: protection, well-being, strength, stamina, anti-negative "energy", whatever that is. | the last couple of time I've had acupuncture for arthritis in my spine, I've felt like I was holding a black, smooth and faceted rock in my left hand. I have enough energy training to know that whatever this was, it was some sort of "sink". My acupuncturist suggested "onyx" when I talked to her about it. I've just looked it up.
