Dont forget all of the beautiful places in the United states and canada where amethyst can be found....thunder bay in canada and from my personal experience south Carolina has wonderful deep dark amethyst. As well as many others. My husband and I have just bought a home in amethyst country in south Carolina and are moving our life from Pennsylvania just for opportunities to find our own healing amethyst...and quartz, beryl, ruby, emerald etc....  (Submitted by: Choronzon333 on June 04, 2020)

Rarity : common? I prefer the term ''abundant''. Our Mother Earth has blessed us with so much of this not so semi precious stone in all manner of forms, each with it's own special qualities. We are all truly blessed, and when we express gratitude, we reveal our grace.  (Submitted by: ARIEL on December 09, 2016)
