I have a 17 month old son who was diagnosed of Autism. I saw on your website that moldavite and suligite are the ones for someone with autism. My question is.. are these crystals OK for a 17 month old? It's not too strong for him?! and please advise me on how to use it. Do I have to just place it near him or do I have to massage it to particular points in the body?! I'm interested in buying these crystals from you if you can tell me it's safe for my baby & how to use it. Any insights you have regarding autism and how crystals can help my son,, please let me know.

Dear J,

Thank you for your inquiry. Since your son is so young*, I would not place the crystals on him. Instead I would keep them in his room (perhaps in a grid on top of a tall dresser or shelf), next to his bedside (away from his hands) and if possible I would charge the water he drinks with the Sugilite. For his water, I would place the crystals on the outside of the glass pitcher to receive the energy. Here is a link to a video on how to charge water. Most importantly, I would keep the crystals a safe distance from his touch.

Although I like Moldavite, I wouldn't suggest it to him yet. I would useCharoite instead. Moldavite can be very strong for those that are sensitive and since he is so young, I would err on the side of caution. Once he is older (7-8) years older, I would give it a try.

Here is a link to one or articles on what crystals the author found worked best with the energy of Autism.

I hope that these recommendations can be of assistance and that crystals grace your journey with love and light.

Crystal Blessings!
