Hi,I'm planning to wire wrap my moldavite and I was thinking if the wire would damage my moldavite by scratching or chipping the moldavite,so will this happen?.Also will wire wrapping affect the moldavite's energy in a position or negative way?

Hi:

Thanks for your question about whether wiring wrapping will damage your Moldavite. It is always hard to say since it depends on the crystal - is it thick, thin, big, small, etc. I would recommend creating more of wire basket or spiral effect that the crystal will lay in (without falling out) so that you don't have to worry about the wire actually wrapped around the crystal.

Energetically the wire can be very beneficial for your crystal. Silver wire is very common and that is metal carries feminine (Moon) energy that will bring our insight and intuitive qualities in the crystal. Gold carries male (Sun) energy that will make the energy more directed and forceful while Copper energy is the most physically healing.

Crystal Blessings!

I don't think they should be wrapped in wire.  (Submitted by: MAXXFIRE on May 25, 2022)
